The Tau Omega Charitable Trust Fund, Incorporated implements its mission through the work of its Board of Trustees and cadre of Volunteers. Volunteers whose personal motivation to "give back" aligns with the principles of Scholarship, Service and Support, our motto.

Then we are looking for you!
Individuals with time combined with talent and experience in the fields of education, technology, administration, creative design and writing as well as event planning can help us to fulfill our mission.
Specifically, we are seeking assistance with:
- activities related to awarding scholarships to deserving persons seeking higher education;
- administrative tasks such as creating flyers, brochures and correspondence;
- maintaining our website and social media accounts; and
- staffing a fund development operation.
All we ask is that you complete our Volunteer Application (available here), possibly undergo a background check (in certain circumstances), and attend an organization orientation session prior to work with us.
As a volunteer you will gain personal satisfaction that your time and effort:
- helped someone to fulfill their dream to attain a college education;
- helped guide a college student through their college experience;
- helped us to effectively and professionally engage with the public through our communications;
- helped our development operation; and
- helped continue an over 50-year tradition of support in the Harlem community.
