Woods White Family Legacy

This award is granted to a Black woman with a demonstrated financial need who has demonstrated a concern for women's rights and has an overall grade point average at or above a B.  The ideal candidate has a proven track record of mediation skills and leadership.  She may be pursuing a career in women's studies, international relations or any other field through which intergroup relations are achieved.

Eligibility

  • Is a female
  • Is a global citizen who exhibits an interest in international relations, human rights, and social justice
  • Presents evidence of her commitment to the principle of advocating for women's rights
  • Presents evidence that she knows how to negotiate so that everyone wins and to disagree with opponents without being disagreeable.
