Woods White Family Legacy

This award is granted to a woman with a verified financial need who has demonstrated a concern for women's rights and has an overall grade point average at or above a B.  The ideal candidate has a proven track record of advocacy, mediation skills and leadership.  The candidate may be pursuing a career in women's studies, international relations or any other field through which international relations or social justice are achieved. Funds can be used to support educational studies, international conferences and study abroad programs.

 

Eligibility

  • Is a female Undergrad or Graduate student.
  • An individual who is aware and engaged in affairs of the world with a focus on Women’s Rights and issues including Human Rights and Social Justice.
  • Presents evidence of her commitment to the principle of advocating for women's rights through active involvement in advocacy, social service and humanitarian efforts in the local, state, national and international areas.
  • Individuals who have a proven track record of leadership and possesses passion to  help move the international women’s agenda forward to make meaningful change across borders.
